Judy Gibson
Mother of the Bride |
Judy lives in Vinton, Louisiana where she aids her two blind parents in
daily life. She claims she hates small town life, but I'm not sure she'd
be happy with the considerable decrease in gossip that comes from living
in a big city. She's had several hobbies in the past - shirt painting,
doll making, and caring for children that come back to the nest. |
 |
Mac & Nancy Huestis
Parents of the Groom |
Mac & Nancy Huestis are currently doing the retired thing, and live
on a golf course in Fort Myers, Florida. They spend their spare time
playing with their 2 Cocker Spaniels, and attending social functions with
the neighbors. They have been the parents of the
Groom for over 30 years now. |
 |
Yvette Muller
Matron of Honor |
In addition to being my Aunt, Yvette has been my closest confident and
friend ... just about since I was born. She instilled in me a love
of sign language and special needs children. I followed in her footsteps
and became a speech-language pathologist. She got smart, got out, and now
is a successful small business woman with 2 baby furniture stores in the
Houston area. |
 |
Scot Pettit
Best Man |
Scot and I met in 1987, and have been great friends ever since. We were
roommates for many years until the flood
came along. I was in Scot's wedding when he married Ginny in October,
1999. Scot and Ginny recently moved to Colorado Springs, CO, where Scot
was transferred with a job promotion at Compaq. |
 |
Janet Rancatore
Bridesmaid |
Janet is a fellow co-worker of mine and couldn't be a closer friend. A
mutual love of the circus was our first hint at how close we were destined
to become. She has been such a Godsend to me since moving to Houston.
Thanks for all the times you listened to complaints, doled out advice and
recommended a good margarita fix. |
 |
Tim Huestis
Groomsman |
Tim is my brother, and
about 2 years younger than me. Tim and his wife, Dena are both graduates
of Stephen F. Austin State University. They are currently living in San
Antonio, TX, where Tim works for an auto finance company, and Dena teaches
3rd Grade. |

Sandy Dosher
Bridesmaid |
Sandy and I have been friends for almost 10 years now. She resides in
Vinton, Louisiana with her husband, Ronnie. We've been through lots
together, and I'm so glad she'll be here for me on my most special day. |
 |
John Mego
Groomsman |
John and I go back further than anybody else I still keep in contact
with. We rode the bus together to elementary school, and have been friends
ever since. John and Kelly (his wife of 8 years), travel back and
forth between their 2 houses in Houston and Austin for John's job. |
 |
Beverly Matt
Bridesmaid |
I spent my childhood waiting for the next holiday so that I could see
Beverly again. She taught me all the important things about growing up,
like how to play "Truth or Dare" and canoe down the Ouachita
River without losing your drinks or drowning your dog. And yes, Bev, you
are still my favorite cousin. |
 |
Jim Fullerton
Groomsman |
Jim and I go back to intermediate school, and have been friends for a
very long time. Jim is currently engaged to Linda (immediately below) and
owns his own pawn shop in the Houston area. Jim has always known more
about sports and music than anybody else I know, and now that he owns a
pawn shop, he seems to know everything about guns, tools, jewelry,
electronics, etc. also. |
 |
Linda Coomes
Bridesmaid |
Since we first met, Linda has been a bubbling fountain of life. She's
teaching me the finer things that Houston has to offer - shoe hunting,
wine tasting, bad karaoke singing. Linda is currently working as the
Romance Director for the Houston Press. |
 |
James Pintkowski
Groomsman |
James and I have been friends since intermediate school. James is a
graduate of Texas A&M and works at his successful family-owned
business. When I get married, I will be passing the torch of bachelorhood
on to James, who will be one of the few left in our group without a
significant other. |
 |
Joseph Morse
Usher |
Joe and I have been friends for about 15 years. Joe would have been a
groomsman in our wedding, had it not been for the fact that he and his
wife Cyndee are expecting their first child the same day as our wedding.
If you don't see Joe around on our wedding day it is because he is at the
hospital becoming a father. |
 |
Brian Huestis
Usher |
Brian, also know as "Andy" is my youngest brother, about 4
years younger than me. Although we didn't always get along when we were
growing up (as most brothers do) we get along great now. Brian's hobbies
include working out, nutrition, women, and getting into trouble. He is
currently working as a medical assistant in the Houston area. |
 |
Robert Gibson
Usher |
Robert is Stephanie's older brother and currently lives in Vinton, LA.
If he's not busy playing on the internet or writing screen plays for his
comic book, Captain Harlock, he can usually be found working (or
playing) in the river casinos. He's looking forward to moving back to San
Antonio after the wedding. |
 |
Larry Spill
Usher |
Larry and I met in the summer of 1986 where we lived and partied in the
same apartment complex. Larry is probably the friendliest guy you will
ever meet, and most people that live in either Conroe or Magnolia know
Larry, have had a beer with him, or have at least heard of him. Larry can
usually be found with a beer in at least one of his hands. |
